Jimmy Power worked in collaboration with projection artist Rebecca Smith and illustrator Pete Barber, to create a live AV Performance for Leeds Light Night. The performance made use of live aspects from projection mapping, digital drawing and live electronic music.

 

Pre production of the sound consisted of working with Leeds College of Art students to capture a range of sounds that were significant to their building. Alongside to this, using ‘Light’ as a theme for the piece to influence the creation of the sound design. The performance uses a combination of pre produced assets, with live music and improvised parts within Ableton that produces a dynamic, site specific AV piece.
